Production Planner

Job Summary
The Materials & Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities while ensuring timely availability of materials. The role focuses on optimizing inventory levels, improving production efficiency, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Scheduling
Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on demand forecasts and customer orders
Create and manage production schedules to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and machines
Coordinate with shop floor teams to execute plans effectively
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed
2. Material Planning
Plan and ensure availability of raw materials, components, and consumables
Generate Material Requirement Plans (MRP) based on production schedules
Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability
Track shortages and proactively mitigate risks
