PRODUCTION MATERIAL CONTROLLER

Key Purpose of Job

The Production Material Controller is responsible for the accurate control, movement, and availability of all materials within the production environment. The role ensures that components, materials, and assemblies are correctly managed and available at the right time and in the right place to support a continuous and efficient manufacturing flow. It also maintains stock control processes, ensures full material traceability, and supports overall production efficiency and operational reliability.

Key Tasks

General:

• Manage all physical stock movements, verification, and documentation of materials and products within production, including:
  • Transferring kitted jobs from Stores to Production
  • Moving raw materials from Stores to Production
  • Relocating products and assemblies between workstations and assembly levels
  • Moving assemblies between Supermarkets and Production areas
