Production Manager

Business: Paints.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate entire production process
• Contribute to production planning and budgeting
• Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a safe production environment
• Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders
• Knowledge of decorative and industrial paint manufacturing processes
• Understanding of raw materials, resins, pigments, solvents and additives used in paints
• Knowledge of batch processing, process parameters and production controls
• Understanding of quality management systems, testing standards and product specifications
• Knowledge of SAP PP/MM modules, inventory management and production reporting
• Understanding of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and Continuous Improvement practices
