About the Role :
We are looking for a motivated Foundry Engineer to oversee and improve foundry operations, ensuring high-quality casting production, process efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Our ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in foundry processes with strong technical knowledge of metallurgy, molding, melting, and casting operations. Experience in centrifugal casting will be considered a strong advantage.
Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day foundry operations including melting, molding, pouring, and finishing processes
Monitor and control process parameters to ensure consistent casting quality
Troubleshoot casting defects such as shrinkage, porosity, cracks, and inclusions
Implement process improvements to reduce rejection rate and increase productivity
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Coordinate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams
