Production Engineer

Job Scope Oversee and manage manufacturing equipment, processes, and operators, ensuring effective production and quality products. Develop and drive digital transformation and Industry 4.0 / SMART Factory initiatives through digital solutions development. Perform data engineering and analysis to generate actionable insights from machines and software systems for real time decision making. Formulate and implement an efficient material handling system for efficient storage and movement of raw material, semi-finished and finished product within the factory. Perform engineering analysis to reduce defects and improve product quality. Investigate production problems, analyse root causes, implement corrective actions and preventative actions. Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards. Develop standard operating procedures to improve and maximise production capacity, quality, and manpower utilisation.
