Production Engineer

£41,500 – £45,750
This Production Engineer role reports to the Production Manager and is focused on stabilising production performance in a fast-moving precision manufacturing environment. You’ll create and deliver recovery plans when work is late, minimise overruns and downtime, improve utilisation, and keep jobs moving through scheduling to protect OTD. You’ll also own shopfloor NCR/ECR discipline, driving timely closure and reducing repeat non-conformance through practical lean-led improvement.
Production Engineer Overview:
Build and deliver recovery plans for late production issues to protect OTD
Reduce overruns and downtime by removing blockers and improving flow
Maximise utilisation of shopfloor resources through prioritisation and coordination
Own NCR/ECR raising and closure, reducing repeat internal non-conformance
Apply lean techniques to cut waste, cost and disruption across production
