Procurement Specialist

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Procurement Services (‘Director’), the Procurement Specialist is responsible for developing a strategic approach for the sourcing of products and services for the university. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading complex sourcing projects providing advice and guidance to university stakeholders including senior leadership, faculty, principal investigators, and staff, to facilitate effective procurement process assessment and implementation. The Procurement Specialist also sources products and services from suppliers, maintaining good supplier relationships, and working with all university clients and Financial Services to ensure that the sourcing process and products are acquired and delivered to clients in a timely and effective manner while ensuring compliance with university procurement policy and granting agencies’ guidelines.
