The Procurement Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the procurement process at VBP, ensuring the organization acquires the right goods and services at the best possible price while maintaining quality and compliance. This role will involve strategic sourcing, supplier management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Main duties include
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with VBP's business objectives and financial goals.
- Manage the full procurement cycle, from sourcing and supplier selection to contract negotiation and management.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, maintaining a database of preferred vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance, troubleshoot issues, and foster strong working relationships.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
