Procurement Analyst - REMOTE LOCAL

**Job Description**
Work within team of procurement professionals to action material requisitions per MRP planning recommendations for assigned commodities.

+ Using sources approved by engineering to meet the required specification, the analyst issues Requests for Quotations (RFQ's), and follows through with negotiating pricing and delivery terms and crafting purchase orders while ensuring compliance to all company procurement procedures.
+ Negotiate purchase requirements with suppliers to meet target pricing and/or ensure best value procurements for BAE
+ Actively work with suppliers to resolve schedule conflicts, and follows through with material planners to ensure understanding of delivery commitments.
+ Work with Commodity Managers to contribute to strategic initiatives and participate in process improvement projects
+ Resolve delivery and accounts payable issues in a timely manner
