Job Purpose: Designing and implementing safety systems and conducting risk assessments to ensure offshore facilities comply with industry standards and HSE requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Designs fire and safety systems for offshore oil and gas modules and platforms. Develops design safety philosophies, HSE plans, and specifications for active and passive fire protection systems, Human Factors Engineering (HFE), and related elements.
• Prepares and reviews engineering design documents, reports, and specifications for fire and safety systems, including design philosophies, equipment specifications and data sheets, safety equipment lists, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and firewater hydraulic and safety-related calculations.
