This role is in the Platforms organization, responsible for creating reusable solutions for teams around the globe to then create the most sophisticated industrial barcode readers, machine vision and smart cameras in the world. We combine custom hardware, specialized lighting and optics, and world class vision algorithms to create embedded systems for reading barcodes. Using these systems, we can find and read high-density symbols on package labels or marked directly on a variety of industrial parts, including aircraft engines, electronics substrates, and pharmaceuticals test equipment.
