Role Overview
Premium Auditor – Permanent full‑time – Edmonton, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Review records and data to ensure employers report correct assessable earnings and pay appropriate premiums.
- Review employer operations to ensure proper classification for rate‑setting purposes.
- Ensure appropriate experience is used to set the employer premium rate.
- Verify worker status and earnings to ensure proper worker claims charging.
- Communicate findings, root causes, and corrective action plans to employers.
- Investigate allegations of unregistered employers, unauthorized premium deductions, etc.
- Educate employers to improve disability management programs via consultations.
- Educate employers and other relevant parties on WCB legislation and pricing programs.
- Perform additional duties as required.
