This National Guard position is for a POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1067000 and is part of the IL AASF 2, National Guard. Responsibilities As a POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), WG-5378-5/8/10, you will perform duties involving the maintenance and repair of power ground and other support equipment used in aircraft servicing and repairs. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Perform maintenance, repair, and modification of powered ground support equipment including AC/DC generators, air compressors, heaters, deicers, and auxiliary power units. Perform overhaul, rebuild, repair, and replacement of major system components including power-plant, brake, fuel, steering, hydraulic, air, starting, ignition, and electrical systems.
