Power Systems Engineer

The role

As a Power Systems Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the toughest challenge in our product line: delivering reliable energy at -40°C and below. From day one, you’ll lead the design, integration, and testing of the proprietary energy system at the core of our stack – from portable high‑bandwidth ground hubs to fully autonomous systems – ensuring an uninterrupted flow of mission critical data and asset coordination in the world’s harshest environment.

Core responsibilities

• Architect, build, and iterate ARD’s proprietary energy system for seamless integration into our hardware line
• Serve as the go‑to technical lead for power requirements across electrical, RF, systems, and mechanical interfaces, driving SWaP optimisation at every iteration
• Ensure uninterrupted power delivery to MCUs, electronic arrays, perception sensors, and autonomous subsystems
