About the Role
We are interested in understanding cell material interactions at the microscopic and macroscopic level and generate predictive in vitro model systems in order to understand clinical scenarios and provide solutions for regenerative dentistry and oral implantology. This position is particularly suitable for candidates who are interested in pursuing their own project, bring innovative ideas, and are willing to think out of the box. We require independence and a structured, well organised research approach.
In addition to their own research project, candidates are expected to support supervision of master students and PhD candidates.
Project ideas include, but are not limited to
- Scaffold development for tissue engineering
- Hydrogel formulations and evaluations
- 3D culture systems of human progenitor cells
