About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Polymer Engineer with strong expertise in fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulation development, process optimization, quality control, and troubleshooting related to fiberglass composite products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize polymer formulations for fiberglass-reinforced products.
Design and improve FRP components using thermoset and/or thermoplastic resins.
Oversee production processes such as hand lay-up, filament winding, pultrusion, RTM, or vacuum infusion.
Conduct material testing (mechanical, thermal, chemical resistance).
Troubleshoot manufacturing defects such as delamination, voids, poor curing, and surface imperfections.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
Work closely with production, R&D, and quality teams to improve product performance.
Evaluate raw materials (resins, curing agents, fiberglass mats/roving...
