About the Role
- Installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing systems and fixtures (pipes, faucets, water heaters, etc.).
- Diagnoses plumbing issues and conducts necessary repairs.
- Ensures plumbing systems meet building codes and safety regulations.
- Installs new piping and plumbing systems during construction or renovation.
- Responds to emergency plumbing issues, such as leaks or blockages.
- Provides estimates for repairs or installations.
- Proven experience as a plumber.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant certification or licensing (varies by location).
- Physical ability to lift and handle heavy materials and work in tight spaces.
