This is a PRN night shift Phlebotomist position for St. Mary's Hospital in Madison working overnight hours on a fill in/pick up basis. The minimum requirement is an every other weekend rotation but additional shifts are available.
**Job Summary:**
Under specific direction, collects and prepares blood specimens and other samples for laboratory testing. Maintains collection areas and equipment and performs record keeping duties.
**Job Responsibilities and Requirements:**
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Collects blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary technique and processes the samples according to laboratory guidelines.
+ Delivers samples to the laboratory in established time frames.
+ May perform waived testing.
