Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose and Summary

Pharmacy Technicians support CVS Health’s pharmacy teams by assisting pharmacists and providing high‑quality, efficient, patient‑centered service. They are the first point of contact for patients and customers, ensuring prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately while upholding CVS policies and federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at each workstation to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures at each station (production, pick‑up, drive‑thru, drop‑off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, offering immunizations or other services at the register or over the phone, and resolving or escalating patient problems.
