About the Role
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist ‐ and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and the standard policies and procedures of the department ‐ assists the pharmacist in all aspects of the medication, IV solution, and pharmaceutical supply distribution systems.
Education, License & Cert:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred but not required for hire. All Technicians will be encouraged to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam. Supporting educational material will be provided.
Experience:
Previous Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

1. Inventory Management a. Routine review of inventory to ensure appropriate quantities are available to meet patient needs b. Performs accurate cycle counts c. Ensures safe storage of all medications according to manufacturer recommendations and established practices d. Assis...
