Job Overview
Assist the Senior Payment Analyst with remittance preparation (CRA, RQ, WCB / WSIB, EHT). Create and maintain predictive and other analytical tools and reports to support the Payroll function. Review, research, and respond to complete all assigned service request tickets for the Payroll team. Identify, implement, and document process improvements and assist with payroll system testing. Work collaboratively with other Payroll team members to support and share best practices. Execute special projects and ad-hoc reporting as assigned by the Payroll Manager and above. Assist with payroll training and create/update payroll documentation. Lead and assist in year‑end balancing/reporting.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience processing payroll using a payroll management or HRIS system
- Strong computing skills, including MS Office
