Pathologist (Brampton)

Overview

The Department of Laboratory Medicine is seeking a full-time Anatomical Pathologist to join a rapidly expanding and evolving program. As the department continues to grow in scope, complexity, and academic engagement, the Division of Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology is pursuing a hybrid model of staffing and service delivery, supporting a number of members in specialist roles, wholly or in part. The pathologist will have undergone fellowship training. Areas of interest include Thyroid Pathology, Cytopathology and Dermatopathology. There is potential to incorporate relevant aspects of Next Generation Sequencing into practice in the areas of specialization. There is also opportunity to participate in teaching and research activities as the department prepares to build its capacity with welcoming the new medical school and research institution.
