About the Role

The Pastry & Bakery Commis I is responsible for the preparation, baking, finishing, and presentation of a wide range of premium breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked products in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. Reporting directly to the Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef, or Sous Chef, the Commis I plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the pastry and bakery section by consistently producing high-quality products, maintaining exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation, and supporting timely production to meet operational and customer demands. The role requires strong technical baking skills, attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to delivering excellence in every product while upholding the highest standards of culinary craftsmanship and professionalism.
