We’re looking for a Pastoral-focused Teaching Assistant to support pupils who benefit from emotional guidance, structure, and encouragement throughout the school day.
This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys being a trusted adult in a pupil’s school life.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs
Providing reassurance and guidance
Working closely with pastoral and safeguarding teams
Helping pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged
Building positive relationships
What we’re looking for:
Experience in pastoral, youth work, or education settings
A calm, empathetic approach
Strong listening and communication skills
Consistency and patience
Thrive training provided free if you’re not already trained.
