About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Assist in ingredient preparation, cold room retrieval, and misc en place tasks.
- Support in basic production activities such as shaping, unmoulding, filling, frosting, etc.
- Maintain workstation cleanliness, and help with storage and organization.
- Learn and follow SOPs with the goal of growing into more skilled roles.
- Provide flexible support across the production line as directed.
- Have interest in pastry & bread and hold a certificate in Pastry & Bakery is preferred but not necessary.
- Able to work a minimum of 18.5 hours per week (2-3 days per week).
- Working hours between 9am to 5pm.
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays.
- Have good work ethics, initiative and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Hourly pay rates: $12 on weekdays & weekends and $14 on public holidays.
