About the Role

In Manchester, our services extend to care leavers, family placements, Unaccompanied Asylum‑Seeking Children (UASC)/Separated Children, mother and baby placements, as well as adults and NHS referrals. The caseload within our team is diverse, ranging from caring for a 17‑year‑old to supporting individuals as old as 60. Our clients present a spectrum of needs, including mental health challenges like psychosis or autism, and some have been in the care system throughout their lives.

We are committed to providing comprehensive support, encompassing independent living skills development, assistance in accessing education or employment opportunities, medication reminders, support with benefits applications, accompanying individuals to appointments, active participation in meetings, and offering crucial emotional support.
