OSP Network Engineer

Job Description
A large telecommunication company is looking to bring on a OSI Network Engineer for a 12-month contract to hire with 5 days a week requirement. This role participates in network planning, architecture design, and engineering, integrating and schematically depicting communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission methods, signaling links, and protocols into complete network configurations. The position evaluates new products, resolves network issues, and assists in the development and documentation of technical standards while developing and implementing approved methods of procedure. Responsibilities include designing and establishing protocol compatibility standards, implementing network enhancements, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
