About the Role
Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman on our bulk carrier fleet trading worldwide. Work with an experienced crew, keep the vessel safe and clean, and build your sea service in a professional and supportive environment.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Assist with mooring, anchoring, cargo operations and watchkeeping
- Carry out routine deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Handle mooring ropes, wires and deck equipment safely
- Support navigational watch on bridge and lookout duties as directed
- Follow company safety rules and participate in drills
- **Requirements**:
- Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) / Deck Rating certificate
- STCW certificates and documents in line with international requirements
- Previous experience on bulk carriers preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and travel documents
