Oncology Pharmacist

Main Purpose of Job

To ensure effective and efficient pharmacy services including safe compounding and dispensing of chemotherapy that complies with all relevant professional patient safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Coordinate orders and prescriptions for chemotherapy and supportive medications.
• Ensure adequate and optimal supply of medications with a focus on safety and efficient use of medication.
• Monitor and manage optimal chemotherapy drug dosing procedures.
• Provide relevant clinical services and support to cancer patients and internal professionals, including educational services where required.
• Ensure accurate and safe labelling, preparation and documentation of oncology medications according to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
