NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program provides hands-on learning in a diverse and inclusive hospital setting. Students will work alongside seasoned veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians to master patient care, surgical assistance, and laboratory skills. This flexible practicum can last between two to eight weeks, allowing you to align it with your academic schedule and interests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with patient care and clinical procedures
• Participate in surgery and anesthesia preparations
• Get involved in laboratory work and radiology processes
• Strengthen client and team communication skills
