Nursing Aide

Job Summary:

The Nursing Aide at Kalix Primary Care Clinic provides essential support to nurses and physicians in delivering efficient, patient-centered outpatient services. This role is responsible for assisting patient preparation, facilitating smooth clinic flow, and supporting basic clinical and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for consultation by obtaining vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and basic medical history

• Assist in patient flow, including escorting patients to examination rooms and ensuring timely coordination of services

• Support nurses and physicians during consultations, procedures, and minor treatments

• Prepare, clean, and disinfect examination rooms before and after each patient
