Purpose of the Role:

The Synthetic Environment (SE) Technical Architect will provide support through the use of their knowledge-based and skills-based experience in network topologies for on-premise and cloud-based computing. They will also provide site IT Administration for the SE in support of Naval Material for the Royal Canadian Navy, focused on network infrastructure (primarily Cisco Layer2/Layer3) with a Windows Active Directories environment. The Technical Architect will provide knowledge and experience with hypervisors including Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere. The SE team supports other teams that provide multi-disciplinary engineering and technical services related to the River Class Destroyer (RCD) Naval Combat System.
