Molding Process Engineer

Job Description Responsibilities • Hands-on in operating injection molding machine and other auxiliary equipment such as automation handling system, mold temperature controller, chiller, mixer etc. • Application of optimal injection parameters leading to part molded condition achieving dimensional stability and free from common molding defects. • Able to carry out mold testing independently. Well-prepared and lead during mold trials by ensuring molds are qualified per requirements. • Establish guidelines in mold testing procedures and safety. • Close follow-up on mold development stages, from design, fabrication, assembly, mold trials and testing. These include coordination with vendors, planners and production to ensure activities are seamless and smooth handover to production. • Conduct DOE on different injection parameters, how these parameters affect molded part with data to support the overall analysis study. • Be the go-to-exp...
