The uranium produced at McArthur River is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions‑free nuclear power. Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain the main cage and skip conveyance.
• Prepare equipment and materials to be moved to and from the underground using slings and rigging.
• Operate various equipment such as JCB loader and skid steer loader.
• Work alongside a diverse workforce (Cameco employees, contractors, and trade personnel).
• Fulfil all duties as detailed in the mine shaft 1 operator training requirements.
