**Job Description**
This role focuses on fabrication welding, pipe repair, and mechanical maintenance to restore and improve process tanks and piping systems in a manufacturing environment. You work primarily on first shift, performing project-based work over an extended period while ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform fabrication welding for pipe repair, with a strong emphasis on MIG welding to restore and maintain piping systems.
+ Identify leaks in tanks and piping, assess the extent of damage, and carry out appropriate repairs to bring tanks back to standard.
+ Cut down and remove old tanks using torch cutters in a safe and controlled manner.
+ Execute pipefitting tasks, including installing, modifying, and optimizing piping to create more efficient piping layouts.
