About the Role
Middleware/Mainframe Admin Basic knowledge of Mainframe concepts (JCL, z/OS, datasets) Basic exposure to Middleware (WebSphere / JBoss / MQ) Understanding of batch processing and job monitoring Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow/Remedy) Basic troubleshooting and log analysis skills Provide L1/L2 support for Mainframe systems (z/OS, TSO/ISPF) and/or middleware platforms. Monitor system performance and handle alerts, incidents, and service requests. Perform basic job monitoring, scheduling, and batch support (JCL). Support middleware tools like WebSphere, JBoss, or MQ (basic admin tasks). Assist in user access management and security compliance. Support restart activities, log checks, and issue troubleshooting. Follow ITIL processes (incident, change, request management). Maintain documentation and operational runbooks.
