Job Duties: Perform, record, and review scheduled QC (quality control). Take immediate corrective action when QC data is outside established limits. Verify specimen labeling, integrity, and suitability before performing testing. Accurately perform low, medium, and high complexity testing procedures according to established protocols and regulatory requirements. Report test results accurately and appropriately report critical test results to physician, nursing station, or physician office according to established protocol.
