Mechanical Technician

Basic Requirements

• Formal Tertiary education: Qualified Millwright Artisan
• Languages: English – Read, write and speak (required)
• Languages: German – Speak (advantageous)
• Drivers Licence: Yes
• Travel: Willing and able to travel locally and internationally

Experience

• Min 5 years of Millwright artisan experience in assembly, installation and fault finding and root cause identification in the Mechanical industry with machines, preferably in the automation industry
• Experience in measuring and alignment procedures of various applications within the machine assembly process
• Experience and ability to read and interpret details and requirements from mechanical design drawings and from mechanical soft-copy designs.
• Experience with interfacing/extracting information provided externally by customers/suppliers, to be incorporated into existing assembly methods
