Join our client's team on a major power station project! We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter with welding capability to assist with generator decommissioning and installation works in a live operational environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical fitting tasks for generator decommissioning and installation Confirm mechanical isolations and follow LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures Drain fluids (coolant, oil, diesel) and remove services/exhaust pipework Rigging and dogging for safe load movement Interpret installation drawings and install generators, gas pipework, exhaust, and air intake systems Complete basic welding tasks (cable trays, brackets, reinforcing mesh) Skills & Tickets Required Mechanical fitting experience in power station or heavy industrial projects Welding competency (basic structural welding) ...
