About the Role
Contribute to efficient piping system designs as a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Pipe Stress analysis. Use industry-standard software like CAESAR II to perform comprehensive stress calculations and analyses.
This role requires a deep understanding of stress evaluation for complex piping environments, particularly in oil sands facilities. You will develop stress models, oversee design reviews, and ensure compliance with ASME and CSA standards. Engage with interdisciplinary teams to drive improvements and deliver exceptional engineering results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform calculations for sustained and occasional stresses
• Select engineered pipe support solutions
• Communicate stress findings effectively across teams
• Review technical bids for piping stress items
• Participate in constructability reviews and support construction phases
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
