Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities Using Solidworks to produce mechanical design, simulation, and various engineering solutions Design machine automation, and produce the necessary drawing with detailed measurements and specifications for fabrication Produce, maintain and update 3D/ 2D renderings, and bill of material (BOM) list, with detailed descriptions Review and evaluate machine designs/ design solutions vis--vis requirement/ specs Produce detailed parts drawing & BOM for fabrication Work alongside fabricator and provide support in production/ design modifications Perform/ conduct/ lead engineering meetings/ presentations/ discussions Select suitable components/ parts for various designs, based on sound engineering understanding and knowledge Actively coordinate between customer, vendors and production to deliver product(s) as per customer's requirements and on schedule Liaise with vendor for technical information and specification Produce operational/ instructions manual for end users
