Mechanical Design Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong New Product Development (NPD) experience to support the design and development of innovative mechanical systems and components.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in sheet metal, casting, and rotomolded component design using SolidWorks, along with strong engineering analysis capabilities.Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for new product development projects.
- Create detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks.
- Design components involving:- Sheet metal- Castings- Rotomolded parts- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure manufacturability and assembly fit.
- Conduct engineering calculations including:- Free Body Diagram (FBD) analysis- Machine design calculations- Structural and mechanical evaluations- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
