Description
:We are looking for a time served Mechanical Assembly Engineer that will be responsible for ensuring that equipment and machinery is assembled to a high standard, within expected timelines. Helping the team provide an Exceptional Customer Experience by achieving our Operational Excellence goals, driving continuous improvement, promoting good teamwork, and acting in line with the company’s policies and values.
Responsibilities
Comply with the Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1974, current legislation and BWIS company policies & procedures
Ensure safety glasses and shoes are always worn in the assembly areas along with addition PPE when required
Read and analyse assembly drawings, bills of material and specification, to plan machine build operations.
Fit and assemble components according to specifications. Using the correct tools and recognised engineering methods.
