About the Role
Work Flexibility: HybridDesign and develop fixtures, gauges, and mechanical components, including sub‑assemblies and assemblies, ensuring compliance with MBD and QIF standards while meeting functional, manufacturing, and quality requirements. Create, update, and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and MBD datasets using tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, or NX. Apply Model‑Based Definition (MBD) practices, including semantic PMI, GD&T, and annotations directly within 3D models. Develop and manage QIF (Quality Information Framework) models to enable seamless downstream inspection, metrology, and digital quality workflows. Ensure accurate translation of design intent from CAD/MBD models to manufacturing and inspection systems. Apply GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5) to produce functionally robust, inspection‑ready designs.
