Marine Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect marine and coastal infrastructure works including quay walls, revetments, breakwaters, groynes, jetties, pontoons, culverts, outfalls and marine utility structures.
• Review approved shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, ITPs and ensure marine construction activities comply with project specifications, contract documents and applicable UAE/Dubai authority standards.
• Monitor construction of marine foundations, sheet piling, diaphragm walls, piling works, precast elements, scour protection, marine concrete works and corrosion protection systems.
• Inspect installation of rock armouring, geotextiles, marine mattresses and underwater structural works.
• Ensure compliance with bathymetric levels, alignment and tolerances for marine structures including dredging, reclamation and seabed preparation activities.
