Marine Engineer

The Marine Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems onboard vessels to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

• Operate, monitor, and maintain marine mechanical systems including main engines, auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, and propulsion systems

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and overhauls according to planned maintenance schedules

• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to minimize vessel downtime

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, class requirements, and company procedures

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and spare parts usage

• Coordinate with ship crew, shipyard personnel, and shore-based teams during repairs or dry‑docking
