Manufacturing Technician

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of optical, electronic, electro‑mechanical, mechanical, or measurement product assembly operations on assemblies or sub‑assemblies.
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component cleaning & installation, hand soldering, and fitting on assembly units.
• Performs mechanical and optical alignment for laser tuning.
• Conducts product performance testing such as functional, leakage, laser performance, and other related testing processes.
• Conducts electrical testing / troubleshooting.
• Recommends a process improvement plan.

Education & Experience

• Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering or its equivalents with 2 years or more relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
