About the Role
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Salary: £40,000–£50,000
Location : Sheffield
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Support production teams with troubleshooting and resolution of manufacturing issues
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, where applicable)
- Assist with new product introduction (NPI), including process validation and documentation
- Work closely with production, quality, and design engineering teams to ensure smooth production flow
- Analyse production data and identify opportunities to improve KPIs such as yield, downtime, and scrap
