About the Role
Join DXC Technology as a seasoned Mainframe z/OS System Administrator. Support enterprise environments with system builds, software upgrades, and disaster recovery activities, operating in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
In this crucial role, you will oversee z/OS environments by performing installations, maintenance, and upgrades. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations during crucial tasks such as disaster recovery drills, system refreshes, and LPAR builds. You are expected to manage various configurations and assist with audits and vulnerability management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain z/OS (MVS) software via SMP/E
• Support Maintenance IPLs and system migrations
• Execute LPAR builds, decommissions, and recovery tasks
• Manage Coupling Facility and Sysplex configurations
