Job Summary
A Machining and Tooling Technician sets up, operates, and maintains CNC and manual machines (lathes, milling, grinders) to fabricate precision parts, tools, and fixtures. They interpret technical drawings, perform troubleshooting, and ensure quality standards are met to support production.
Responsibilities- Set up, adjust, and operate conventional and CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding) to fabricate tools, dies, and precision parts according to specifications
- Construct, repair, and maintain dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures to support production and troubleshoot tool breakdowns promptly
- Use precision measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, and micrometers to inspect parts and verify compliance with blueprint specifications
